Metastases in the skull. Not so uncommon in some diagnoses
Objective
To enhance the importance of a complete physical examination, with a palpation of the skull, especially in patient with breast, lung, prostate,kidney and thyroid cancer.
Most of the time these metastases are detected by the patient or even her or his hairdresser.
Clinical picture
We show here the picture of a patient with non-small lung cancer, with bone metastases.

Comment
When a metastases are detected at this location (skull), the tumor is spreading in the body, and the indication of a local treatment is out of consideration.
